Our family-owned and operated nurseries are open 7 days and located in Cranebrook, Sydney and Point Clare, NSW Central Coast.

Unfortunately due to reasons beyond our control, our Kenthurst store is permanently closed. However our nurseries at Cranebrook and Point Clare are in full operation. As is our web store.

We Have a great selection of plants, garden ornaments and gardening supplies, and our friendly staff are always on hand to give you the best advice.

Mother Earth Nursery Xmas Garden Fair, Garden Club Meet and Speaker Event

Join us at the Mother Earth Garden Club Fair for a fun-filled day of plants, an array of stallholders, fantastic speakers, food and music.

Our plant fair is a free community event. Admission to the Speaker Hall is a ticketed event.

We have a fantastic line-up of renowned speakers to share their knowledge and passion with you. Expect plant stalls, garden tools, both new and vintage, and a host of other exciting stallholders. There will be an amazing array of proteas, hydrangeas, roses, garden ornaments, flowers and much much more - all perfect for Xmas presents. We are expecting a great community day with coffee, food vans and some live music too! We look forward to welcoming our new club members and reconnecting with our valued customers.

Event Speakers

Mark Massey

Mark, owner of Mother Earth Nursery, which is now home to a huge collection of hydrangea varieties, will share his love and practical wisdom on 'All About Hydrangeas' – looking at the different varieties, and how to prune, feed, and keep them thriving. Mark will be bringing along the most beautiful of the collection on the day.

Tammy `Hyunh

Gardening Australia Presenter , Tammy, will be talking about her new book, The Plant Book - the ultimate guide to thriving houseplants. Their will be a book signing after Tammy's talk.

David Mathews

David MD of Proteaflora, Australia’s leading grower of proteas and waratahs, will talk about how to grow proteas successfully – what they need and where to plant them. There's really nothing David doesn't know about these exquisite plants, from their unique history to their use as a long life cut flower. There will be a demo on how to prune them, how to make a container garden and he will let on which his favorite species are. A rare talk not to be missed.

David Fripp

Celebrated plantsman, David, will present “The Plants That Are Almost Not Plants” – an intriguing talk not to be missed.

Doug Purdie

Author and bee expert Doug, will be talking all about bees. How to encourage them in to the garden, setting up hives, and keeping bees. Bee warned - expect a buzzing and informative talk
