Aristolochia gigantea Brazilian Dutchman's Pipe or Giant Pelican Flower Is a stunning climbing plant from Brazil. It is a vigorous evergreen climbing plant growing in a range of condition from shade to full sun. It produces massive spectacular flowers that are fragrant. With a fragrance reminiscent of some sort of citrus. They produce a large display of flowers in the late summer / autumn months. But can spot flower most of the year. they will tolerate light frosts. We grow ours in our growing nursery at Cranebrook (Penrith) where it get quite cold. They take our heat and our cold in their stride. a fantastic plant for growing over pergolas, arches, or to screen a wall.
