Blandfordia grandiflora Christmas Bells Yellow Form is a rare and unusual form of the traditional Christmas Bells.

Traditional Christmas Bells are found naturally from coastal Sydney up to Brisbane. This Australian native is generally found in swampy areas.  And is commonly known as Christmas Bells because it tends to flower around Christmas time (November to March), although it can occasionally flower at other times of the year too.

Christmas Bells are low maintenance once established. They do however need to be watered regularly if it is dry. There  fantastic in pots or in the garden. Usually getting better results in pots as there is less competition from other plants. If in the garden, do not let them get smothered by other plants. They are best planted densely together to put on a great show.

They require light shade to full sun conditions. The plants do best in moist sandy soils that are free draining. When the plants are given small amounts of fertiliser, they perform very well.

Our plants available are mature flowering size plants. They may or may not be in flower at time of purchase. They are in 165mm wide, extra depth pots. See the second picture above.
Please Note - Flower colour can vary significantly from our picture. Our plants are seed grown and each plants flowers come out slightly differently in shape and colour.
