Callistemon pachyphyllus Green 

This fantastic Callistemon really should be far more popular than it is. A small to medium growing shrub reaching 1.5-2m if left unpruned. Its beautiful green flowers adorn the plant throughout the year. It has the unique ability to produce two large flushes of flowers in Spring and Autumn. And if dead headed regularly before seed heads form it will spot flower the rest of the year. The green flowers are the perfect compliment to its soft, graceful weeping habit and grey green foliage. 

This NSW native is found in coastal heathland areas and is surprisingly tough! It loves full sun or part sun. It is an excellent hedging or screening plant. And makes a wonderful shrub in any garden. It is bird and bee attracting. It withstands strong winds as well as periods of drought and temporary boggy soils once established. And performs well even in clay soils.

These Callistemon respond well to a fertilise with a native plant food such as Garden Delight our rock mineral based plant food.
