Quisqualis mussiendafolia Red Riot - Growing - Ready Feb 2025
Quisqualis mussiendafolia Red Riot
A unusual but stunning semi-climber providing a riot of color from early summer till the end of autumn. Red Riot can be grown as a shrub or semi climber. It makes a fantastic plant grown against a wall. Or up a column or along the eves where it’s bower habit can be admired. It does not produce rampant climbing stems like other climbers. And is far easier to keep under control. It also makes a fantastic shrub or pot plant in the garden if pruned in late winter. The sprint growth will develop its beautiful red flowers by early summer. It loves a warm position in the garden. Ideally a west or north west facing position. The more heat the better!
We have plants available in 180mm pots. They are deciduous in the autumn and winter months for us as our nursery gets cold and frosty.
